Ingredients
  • 1 package jumbo crescent roll dough
  • 1/4cup melted butter
  • 1/4cup granulated Sugar
  • 1tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 8 large marshmallows
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and spray a jumbo muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Separate the crescent roll dough along the perforations and set aside.
  3. Take one marshmallow and roll it first in the melted butter and then in the cinnamon sugar. Place in the middle of one of the crescent roll triangles. Fold the dough over the marshmallow and pinch it together all over to fully enclose the marshmallow.
  4. Dip the top of the resulting roll in the remaining butter and cinnamon sugar and place in the muffin tin, cinnamon sugar side up.
  5. Repeat with the remaining marshmallows and dough until you have 8 rolls.
  6. Bake for 13-15 minutes, until the rolls have turned a light golden brown.
Recipe Notes

To make this fully impactful for the kiddos, after the rolls have cooled a bit, cut one in half to show that the marshmallow is gone, making the correlation between their sweet treat and the risen Christ.
