Ingredients
3tablespoonsolive oil
1cupwhite wine vinegar
2tablespoonsminced fresh basil
3clovesgarlicminced
1teaspoonminced fresh or dried thyme
1teaspoonminced fresh oregano
1/2teaspoonFreshly ground black pepper
1/4teaspoonred pepper flakes
2poundschicken wings
1/3cupfreshly grated Parmesan cheese(optional)
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, vinegar, basil, garlic, thyme, oregano, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Reserve 1/4 cup of the marinade if desired, for brushing on the wings before serving. Place the chicken in the remaining marinade, and toss to coat. Cover with plastic wrap, and soak in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or for up to 24 hours.
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Place the marinated wings in an even layer on a baking tray fitted with a metal rack.
Bake the wings for 45-50 minutes, until they are cooked through, crispy, and golden brown.
Brush with reserved marinade if desired. Sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
