A nice simple recipe to drizzle over the top of spaghetti noodles.
Ingredients
4roma tomatoes
1tspolive oil
1tspBasil
1/2tsporegano
1-2garlic clovesminced
saltto taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Slice the roma tomatoes into 1-inch pieces. Place them on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 25 minutes (this is a great time to prepare your pasta). You may want to broil the tomatoes for 30 seconds or to really soften them up.
Then remove them from the oven, and carefully add them to your food processor. Add in the other ingredients. Pulse the mixture until the ingredients start to form a sauce, but still have a chunky texture.
Add to whole wheat spaghetti for a rustic Italian meal, or enjoy this sauce on pizza for extra flavor.
