Ingredients
3/4cupunsalted buttersoftened
1/2cupgranulated Sugar
3/4cupbrown sugar
1large egg
2teaspoonsvanilla extract
2cupsflour
1teaspoonbaking soda
3/4teaspoonsalt
2cupschocolate chips
1 1/2cupschopped walnuts
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Place the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment. Beat on high speed until light and fluffy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix until fully incorporated.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Add the dry ingredients into the butter mixture. Mix until fully incorporated.
Add the chocolate chips and nuts.
Place the dough in a greased 10-inch cast iron skillet, or any oven-safe pan of a similar size. Evenly distribute the cookie dough in the pan, pressing down with your hands.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the edges are a golden-brown color.
Remove from the oven, and let cool slightly for 10 minutes. Cut into wedges and serve!
