Ingredients

tomato sauce
for dipping
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, combine ricotta, parmesan, 2 cloves of garlic, oregano, and basil, and pepper.
In a medium sauce pan add olive oil and 1 clove of garlic.
Cook until garlic starts to soften and add spinach.
Saute for 3-4 minutes.
Separate dough into four balls.
Roll each out on a lightly floured surface.
Grease baking sheet and sprinkle with cornmeal.
Place dough on baking sheet and spread ½ cup mozzarella and about ¼ of filling and ¼ of spinach in the center of the dough.
Fold dough over top to create the traditional pizza parlor half moon shape.
Seal by pinching the dough with your fingers.
Repeat with remaining dough and filling, spacing calzones evenly apart on the baking sheets.
Bake 15 minutes or until golden.
Serve with warm tomato sauce for dipping.
