  • 1/2cup red wine
  • 1/4cup olive oil
  • Zest and juice from ½ lemon
  • 1/4cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 1/2teaspoon sea salt
  • 2teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2cloves garliccrushed
  • 3tablespoons fresh basilshredded
  • 2tablespoons fresh parsleychopped
  1. Add the red wine, olive oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce, garlic powder, garlic, basil, parsley, salt and pepper to a blender. Blend on high speed for 30 seconds or so, until thoroughly mixed.
  2. Place meat in a shallow dish, pour marinade over the meat, cover, and refrigerate for at least two hours and up to eight, turning the meat occasionally while marinating. Cook meat as desired.
Recipe Notes

* Beer makes a good substitute for red wine.

** Use oil sparingly to prevent oil flare-ups on the grill.
