The Best and Easiest Coconut Macaroons
Ingredients
  • 1package sweetened flaked coconut
  • 1/3cup sugar
  • 1/4teaspoon salt
  • 1tablespoon flour
  • 1/2teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 egg whites
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, blend coconut, flour, salt, vanilla, until well combined.
  4. In a large bowl, beat egg whites until peaks form. Add coconut mixture to the eggs.
  5. Roll spoonfuls of the coconut mixture in your hands to form golf ball sized cookies. Arrange on baking sheet.
  6. Bake about 15 minutes or until the coconut is slightly golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool.
Recipe Notes

If you want to make chocolate drizzled cookies, melt 8 ounces of chocolate chips and drizzle the cookies with the chocolate. You can also dip your macaroons in the chocolate if desired. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment or wax paper and put in the refrigerator until the chocolate has set.
