For the Strawberry Syrup:

  1. Prepare one batch of Foodal’s recipe for strawberry syrup, exactly as written. The recipe will yield about 1 cup of sauce.
  2. The sauce can be served while still warm from the stovetop, or it can be chilled in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks and served cold.

For the Crepes:

  1. Prepare one batch of Foodal’s recipe for basic crepes, exactly as written. The recipe will yield 12 10-inch crepes.
  2. Keep them shingled on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper as you assemble one at a time.

For the Assembly:

  1. Fold each crepe in half, then fold in half again to create a quarter fold. Place 2 or 3 crepes on each dessert plate.
  2. Drizzle about 1/8 cup sauce over the crepes, then top with some sliced strawberries, whipped cream, or powdered sugar. Serve immediately with any remaining sauce.
